The Telugu people or Telugu Prajalu are a Dravidian ethnic group of India. The majority of them reside in the state of Andhra Pradesh. There are also a significant number of Telugu native speakers in the neighbouring states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Odisha.[2] They speak the Telugu language, the most spoken South Indian (Dravidian) language, and the second most spoken language in India after Hindi [citation needed].
